Greenleaf Capital Partners acquires Arco Distributing

Arco Distributing (“Arco”), is now part of the Greenleaf Capital Partners family of companies, Colin Smith, Greenleaf Capital Partners Principal, announced today.  Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Arco Distributing is the leading distributor of manufacturing housing parts in the greater Missouri markets. Arco provides contractors, suppliers, and individual customers with a variety of options for manufacturing housing parts including set-up supplies, siding, skirting, doors, windows, HVAC equipment, among others. Arco also provides HVAC installation services for the manufactured housing markets in the area. The company, which is headquartered in St. Charles, MO was founded in 1963 by Ralph Vanginup.

R&R Sanitation, Inc. (“R&R”), is now part of the Greenleaf Capital Partners family of companies, Chip Smith, Greenleaf Capital Partners Principal, announced today.  Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Greenleaf Capital Partners acquires Northgate Parts, Inc.

Arco Distributing (“Arco”), a Greenleaf Capital Partners company, has acquired Northgate Parts, Inc. (“NGP”), Colin Smith, Greenleaf Capital Partners Principal, announced today. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

NGP is a manufactured housing and recreational vehicle supply distributor and air conditioning servicing company. NGP offers exceptional and personalized service for every project serving both manufactured housing dealers, homeowners, and vehicle owners. The company was founded in 1973 and is headquartered in Chattanooga, TN with additional operations in Knoxville, KY.

ATIS Makes Sixth Acquisition Since 2015

ATIS Elevator Inspections, a subsidiary of American Testing & Inspection Services in St. Louis, has acquired CNY Elevator Inspections, which covers central New York State. It marks the sixth acquisition for ATIS since 2015. CNY has been led by Keith Robison and Jim Cosbey since it was founded in 2004. Tim Sauer, president and CEO of ATIS, said the acquisition provides ATIS a foundation upon which to grow eastward, and welcomed Robison, Cosbey and their staff to the ATIS team.

ATIS Acquires 5th Elevator Inspection Business in 12 Months

MEIS was established in 1999 and provides test witnessing, inspection and certification services for elevators, escalators, moving walks, lifts and other mechanized conveyances. The company has been led by Kirk Pohl since 2006 and is one of the largest elevator inspection companies in the Midwest.

ATIS is headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri and is the second largest conveyance inspection company in the United States. The company currently provides safety inspection and test witnessing services on conveyances and plans to expand into new service verticals in the future. ATIS Acquires Inspection Business from Vertical Assessment Associates

ATIS Elevator Inspections, a subsidiary of American Testing & Inspection Services, is pleased to announce it has acquired the conveyance inspection business of Vertical Assessment Associates, LLC (“VAA”).

Founded in 2000 and headquartered in Tallahassee, Florida, VAA has over twenty employees and has provided inspection services throughout the US, including: Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, South Carolina, Wisconsin, Nevada, Virginia, West Virginia and Texas. Both Lee Rigby and Bill Strawn, owners of VAA, have joined ATIS and will share responsibility for the Company’s growth and its safety, quality control, and continuing education programs. In addition, Strawn and Rigby will continue to provide elevator consulting services through VAA.

ATIS Performs First Third-Party Inspection In Mississippi

St. Louis, Missouri (May 2014) – ATIS Elevator Inspections, a subsidiary of American Testing & Inspection Services, is pleased to announce it has acquired A-1 Elevator Inspection, Inc., which is based in the Tampa, Florida area.

With 7 Qualified Elevator Inspectors, A-1 has provided consulting, test witnessing, inspection and certification services for elevators, escalators, moving walks, lifts and other mechanized conveyances throughout Florida since 2000. Charlie Slater, President of A-1, has joined ATIS as a Vice President with initial responsibility for the company’s Florida operations.

ATIS Makes First Acquisition

ATIS Elevator Inspections, a subsidiary of American Testing & Inspection Services, is pleased to announce it has acquired Palmetto Safety Inspections, LLC.

Founded in 2011 by Jerry Butler, former Chief Elevator Inspector for South Carolina, Palmetto Safety Inspections provides inspection services for elevators, escalators, moving walks, lifts and other means of mechanized conveyances throughout the southeast. Butler, who has joined ATIS Elevator Inspections as Vice President, started his elevator career in 1976 and became a certified elevator inspector with NAESA in 1984.

ATIS Adds J.A. Marchack as President & CEO

ATIS Elevator Inspections (“ATIS Elevator”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of American Testing & Inspection Services (“ATIS”), is pleased to announce J.A. Marchack has joined the firm as President and CEO.

ATIS currently performs safety inspections and test witnessing for elevators, escalators, and other conveyances as required by Authority Having Jurisdictions. Since its launch in January 2013, ATIS has grown to over thirty employees and is performing inspections in over sixteen states. With plans to more than triple in size within two years, the company is looking to hire Qualified Elevator Inspectors and is pursuing several acquisitions to expand its geographic footprint.

J.A. started his career with Chenoweth-Kern Elevator Service in 1971, which was acquired by Montgomery Elevator in 1981. In 1983, he joined National Elevator Inspection Services, where he served as President from 1989 to 2012. During his career, J.A. built the largest elevator inspection business and played an instrumental role in developing many of the country’s third-party inspection systems. J.A. has served on several elevator safety boards, and he currently sits on the Missouri and Georgia advisory boards.
