St. Louis, Missouri (November 2013) – ATIS Elevator Inspections, a division of American Testing & Inspection Services, is pleased to announce one of its Qualified Elevator Inspectors performed the first licensed elevator inspection under the new Mississippi Conveyance Safety Act. Gary Brewer, District Manager for ATIS, received Mississippi’s first elevator inspector license and inspected one elevator and a dumbwaiter in the Governor’s Mansion on November 5, 2013. Pictured above, Mr. Brewer is receiving Mississippi’s first elevator inspector license from Joseph Ammerman, Chief of Staff and Special Assistant to the Insurance Commissioner.
